New company name for Haselhofer Feinmechanik GmbH: AUMA Industry & Marine GmbH
In 2006, Haselhofer Feinmechanik GmbH joined the AUMA Group.
Haselhofer Feinmechanik GmbH is established as manufacturer of electric actuators for industrial applications and marine deployments. This market uses smaller valves with lower torque requirements. Haselhofer devices are particularly suited for these applications. Haselhofer actuators perfectly complement the AUMA actuator product portfolio.
With the change of the name, AUMA Industry & Marine GmbH clearly expresses the orientation towards the target markets. Hence, products and performance are better focussed on satisfying customer demands. Adopting the globally renowned AUMA brand within the company name will assist in improved opportunities to opening up of international markets.
The company founder Emil Haselhofer started in 1940 with the development and production of precision engineering devices and gearboxes. The electric actuator was born out of this experience.
As early as 1953, Haselhofer actually produced electric actuators.
Right until the integration into the AUMA Group, the Haselhofer family managed the company.
The products created right from design, through parts production until assembly within the company warrant for the flexibility, in particular for special versions, which is extremely appreciated by the customers.
