Drehantriebe
Die Drehantriebe der Baureihe SA sind für Steuerbetrieb und Positionierbetrieb (Klassen A und B) / (Kurzzeitbetrieb S2 - 15 min) ausgelegt. Eine Sonderauslegung für längere Laufzeiten steht für den Betrieb S2 - 30 min zur Verfügung.
Die Drehantriebe der Baureihe SAR sind für Regelbetrieb (Klasse C) S4 - 25 % ausgelegt. Sonderausführungen für S4 - 50 % und S5 - 25 % stehen ebenfalls zur Verfügung.
Die Stellantriebe können mit verschiedenen Stellantriebs-Steuerungen kombiniert werden: Von der einfachen AUF-ZU Stellantriebs-Steuerung bis zur microcontroller-gesteuerten Ausführung mit Betriebsdatenerfassung oder mit Feldbusschnittstelle.

In Anlagen, in denen explosionsfähige Atmosphären auftreten können, müssen explosionsgeschützte Geräte eingesetzt werden. Diese sind so konstruiert, dass sie nicht zu einer Zündquelle werden können. Sie erzeugen keine Zündfunken und keine heißen Oberflächentemperaturen.
Die Zertifizierung wird in Zusammenarbeit mit nationalen und internationalen Zertifizierungsstellen durchgeführt.

AUMA bietet mit den Schwenkantrieben SQVEx .2 für Steuerbetrieb elektrische Stellantriebe mit variabler Stellzeit an, die für den Einsatz in explosionsgefährdeter Umgebung zertifiziert sind.

Die SAN/SARN Baureihe ist für den Einsatz zur Automatisierung von Armaturen in Kernkraftwerken vorgesehen. SAN/SARN Antriebe werden dabei außerhalb des Reaktorgebäudes (outside Containment) eingesetzt und sind nach IEEE 382-2006 qualifiziert. Die störfallfesten SAN/SARN Antriebe können in Störfällen Sicherheitsfunktionen übernehmen. Die Drehantriebe der Baureihe SAN können für den Steuerbetrieb und Positionierbetrieb verwendet werden. SARN sind für den Regelbetrieb vorgesehen.
